The cupboard to the left and the vanity to the right of the beds were new, added to complete the built in look of the back wall.

The exterior of the building was left unchanged, with the exception of the new large windows. Originally, the stabbur, when used as a storage facility, needed few windows, but with the gorgeous views of the mountains and fjord on three sides of the little building, Gunder wanted large windows to take advantage of the view.
